MAX_RAM_BLOCKS_M512

Allows you to specify the maximum number of M512 memory blocks that the Compiler may utilize for a

device. This option overrides the usual method of using the maximum number of M512 memory blocks

the current device supports, when the value is non-negative and is less than the maximum number of

M512 memory blocks available on the current device.

This setting can be used in projects targeting any Altera device family.

This assignment is included in the Analysis & Synthesis report.
This assignment supports synthesis wildcards.

set_global_assignment -name MAX_RAM_BLOCKS_M512 <value>
set_instance_assignment -name MAX_RAM_BLOCKS_M512 -to <to> -entity <entity
name> <value>

Default Value

-1 (Unlimited)
