show running-config telnet server

Displays the Telnet server status in the running-config.

Synopsis

show running-config [rbridge-id {rbridge-id | all}] telnet server

Operands

rbridge-id

Enables RBridge ID mode to support Virtual Cluster Switching (VCS) on
individual nodes.

rbridge-id

Specifies a unique identifier for a node.

all

Specifies all identifiers for a node.

Defaults

None

Command Modes

Privileged EXEC mode

Description

Use this command to display the current status of Telnet server in the running-config.

Usage Guidelines

Telnet server configuration is placed at the beginning of running-config and is part of the global
configuration of the switch. Telnet is enabled by default and there will be no entry in the
running-config when set to default.

Examples

Standalone mode

When Telnet service is shut down:

switch# show running-config telnet server

telnet server shutdown

VCS mode

When Telnet service is shut down:

switch# show running-config rbridge-id 3 telnet server

rbridge-id 3

telnet server shutdown

When Telnet service is enabled:

switch# show running-config [rbridge-id rbridge-id | all] telnet server

% No entries found
