Configures the maximum size of the external link state database (LSDB).
Synopsis
external-lsdb-limit value
no external-lsdb-limit
Operands
value
Maximum size of the external LSDB. The maximum allowed value
is 14913080.
Defaults
14913080
Command Modes
OSPF VRF router configuration mode
Description
Use this command to configure the maximum size of the external LSDB. If you change the value,
make sure to save the running-config file and reload the software. The change does not take effect
until you reload or reboot the software.
Usage Guidelines
Enter no external-lsdb-limit to return to the default setting.
Examples
To set the limit of the LSDB to 20000:
switch# configure
switch(config)# rbridge-id 5
switch(config-rbridge-id-5)#router ospf
switch(config-router-ospf-vrf-default-vrf)# external-lsdb-limit 20000
