Marks all OSPF interfaces passive by default.

Synopsis

default-passive-interface

no default-passive-interface

Command Modes

OSPF VRF router configuration mode

Description

Use this command if you want all OSPF interfaces marked passive by default.

You can use the ip ospf active and ip ospf passive commands in interface subconfiguration mode
to change active/passive state on specific OSPF interfaces.

Usage Guidelines

Use the no form of this command to disable it.

Examples

To mark all OSP interfaces as passive for a specified RBridge:

switch# configure

switch(config)# rbridge-id 1

switch(config-rbridge-id-1)# router ospf

switch(config-router-ospf-vrf-default-vrf)# default-passive-interface
