Enables snooping fast-leave.

Synopsis

ip igmp snooping fast-leave

no ip igmp snooping fast-leave

Defaults

This command is disabled.

Command Modes

VLAN interface configuration mode

Description

Use this command to enable Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP) snooping fast-leave
processing. This allows the removal of an interface from the forwarding table without sending out
group-specific queries to the interface.

Usage Guidelines

Enter no ip igmp snooping fast-leave to disable this function.

Examples

To enable snooping fast-leave for a specific VLAN interface:

switch(config)# interface vlan 1

switch(config-Vlan-1)# ip igmp snooping fast-leave

To disable snooping fast-leave for a specific VLAN interface:

switch(config)# interface vlan 1

switch(config-Vlan-1)# no ip igmp snooping fast-leave
