5 - User Name
The user name is the username for the switch port. The port sends
the name to the authentication server for verification when the
port logs on to the network. The username can be from 1 to 16
alphanumeric characters (A to Z, a to z, 1 to 9). Do not use spaces
or special characters, such as asterisks or exclamation points. The
username is case sensitive.
6 - User Password
This parameter specifies the password for the switch port. The
port sends the password to the authentication server for
verification when the port logs on to the network. The password
can be from 1 to 16 alphanumeric characters (A to Z, a to z, 1 to 9).
Do not use spaces or special characters, such as asterisks or
exclamation points. The password is case sensitive.
7. Repeat this procedure starting with Step 4 to configure additional
supplicant ports on the switch.
8. After making changes, type R until you return to the Main Menu. Then
type S to select Save Configuration Changes.
