The main program, which has the pattern repeat call block “(CP, name, r)”,
can be executed from tape or from the control’s memory. However, if you
want to make minor editing to your main program, you must copy the
program into the control’s memory. Refer to Section 9.2, “Inputting Part
Programs,” for details on how to copy a program from tape.

Important: To execute a program from tape, the tape must be positioned
at the start of the main program.

For more information on how subprograms are executed in the control,
refer to chapter 10, “Subprogram Call (M98).”

You may enhance your 7300 part program flexibility with selected 9/Series
features. Table D.C lists the control’s G-codes that can be executed in
7300 mode. However, we recommend that you use the 9/Series
programming method for optimal performance. Refer to earlier sections of
this manual for details on these G-codes.
