You may use Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) to synchronize computer clocks throughout
a computer network when the ultimate performance of the full NTP implementation (as per
RFC-1305 (Requests for Comment No. 1305: Network Time Protocol, Version 3, Specification,
Implementation and Analysis)) is not needed or justified.
On the top line – Use the
▲▼
arrow keys to select SNTP as Enabled or Disabled.
• When Enabled, SNTP contacts the time server to update the Real-Time Clock (RTC) every 24
hours.
• When Disabled, no such notifications take place.
On the bottom line – Use the
◄ ►
arrow keys to first navigate to the bottom line, and then
select the Primary or Backup Server submenu.
Press ENTER to continue.
