Remarks
AL-21:Emergency stop defective performance
Error Contents
Did not stop within ten seconds after specified the emergency stop.
Detection Methods
If the following condition exists, the current is interrupted and the
alarm is displayed. (Emergency stop signal EMG is OFF) / (during
driving) / (the above two conditions were consistent for 10 seconds.)

Cause Measures
Damping torque by discharging
torque drive is reduced.
Check that neither the control parameter (C1-24) setting nor the TLL,
TLH l are specified.
Change the drive circuit so that neither TLL nor TLH can operate dur-
ing emergency stop.
Motor code improper selection
Confirm the control parameter (C1-25) setting and refer to the setting
list.
Load moment of inertia is large.
Check the acceleration/deceleration time to the rated speed are ten
seconds or more (However, set to C1-10:0.1sec).
Reduce the inertia moment.
Enlarge the capacity of the inverter.

Cause Measures
Encoder signal conductor disconnection,
improper connection, and the connector
omission
Check encoder signal conductor wiring.
