User exec commands

Sends ICMP echo messages to a user-specified location

Supported in the following platforms:

Mobility RFS4000 Controller

Mobility RFS6000 Controller

Mobility RFS7000 Controller

Syntax

ping

{[<IP>|<hostname>]}

Parameters

RFController>ping 192.168.2.100

PING 192.168.2.100 (192.168.2.100): 100 data bytes

128 bytes from 192.168.2.100: icmp_seq=0 ttl=128 time=2.7 ms

128 bytes from 192.168.2.100: icmp_seq=1 ttl=128 time=38.4 ms

128 bytes from 192.168.2.100: icmp_seq=2 ttl=128 time=4.6 ms

--- 192.168.2.100 ping statistics ---

3 packets transmitted, 3 packets received, 0% packet loss

round-trip min/avg/max = 2.7/15.2/38.4 ms

RFController>ping

Target IP address:

ping {[<IP>|<hostname>]}

Pings the specified destination IP address or hostname. When
entered without any parameters, this command prompts you for
an IP/Host-name to ping.
