ENABLE SWITCH PORT
Syntax
enable switch port= port
Parameter
port Specifies the port to enable. You can configure more
than one port at a time.
Description
This command enables a port. When a port is enabled, it forwards traffic.
The default setting for a port is enabled.
Example
The following command enables ports 1 to 4:
enable switch port=1-4
Equivalent Command
set switch port= port status=enable

Description
This AlliedWare Plus command is identical to the standard command.
Example
This example enables port 22:
awplus> enable
awplus# configure terminal
awplus(config)# interface 22
awplus(config-if)# no shutdown
