DELETE SWITCH FDB|FILTER

delete switch fdb|filter

Note

The FDB and FILTER keywords are equivalent.

Parameters

macaddress or Deletes a dynamic or static unicast or multicast MAC
destaddress

address from the MAC address table. The address can
be entered in either of the following formats:

xxxxxxxxxxxx or xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx

This parameter must be accompanied with the VLAN
parameter.

vlan

Specifies the VLAN containing the port(s) where the
address was learned or assigned. The VLAN can be
specified by name or VID. This parameter must be used
with the MACADDRESS and DESTADDRESS
parameters.

type or

Deletes specific types of MAC addresses. Options are:

status

static

Deletes all static unicast and
multicast MAC addresses.

staticunicast

Deletes all static unicast addresses.

staticmulticast

Deletes all static multicast
addresses.

dynamic

Deletes all dynamic unicast and
multicast MAC addresses.

dynamicunicast

Deletes all dynamic unicast
addresses.
