Stepping motors [Edit] Properties Stepping motor

In the dialog window Properties Stepping motor the properties for the
individual stepping motors are set.

Port

Display of the internal designation for a stepping motor of the type Dig-
Out_x_y_z
, whereas x stands for the controller; y for the digital output
terminal and z for the output on this terminal.

Port description

Freely selectable designation for a stepping motor port. This designation is
used in the program to actuate the port.

Selection of the port type.

Action

Action that the stepping motor is to carry out.

Reference position
Move to the reference position of the stepping motor.
Relative position
Move to a relative position, whereby the stepping motor moves relative
to the current position by the value defined under Distance/Angle.
Absolute position
Move to an absolute position, whereby the stepping motor moves to the
value defined under Distance/Angle.
End position
Move to the end position of the stepping motor.
