Memory Requirement of the Counter Relay

The high-speed counter function block requires 52 bytes of memory plus 4
bytes per constant on the function block inputs.

Retention

High-speed counter relays can be operated with retentive actual values. The
number of retentive counter relays can be selected in the SYSTEM

RETENTION menu.

If a counter relay is retentive, the actual value is retained when the operating
mode changes from RUN to STOP as well as when the power supply is
switched off.

If Pico GFX-70 is started in RUN mode, the counter relay operates with the
retentively saved actual value.
