Wiring with Pico GFX-70 4-157

The timing relay works like a flashing relay. The Pico GFX-70 symbol
for the flashing relay is . The function is set on the top right beside
the number in the parameter display.

The time base is set to the right of the “flashing” function. Leave the
time base set to

S

for seconds.

Move the cursor to the right over the

character to input the time

If the same setpoint value is input for

, the timing relay

functions as a synchronous flasher.

The

character means that the parameters of this timing relay can be

modified using the PARAMETERS menu.

Confirm the value input with OK.

10.

Press ESC to leave circuit diagram entry.

11.

Complete the circuit diagram.

12.

Test the circuit diagram using the power flow display.

13.

Switch Pico GFX-70 to RUN mode and return to the circuit diagram.

Each parameter set can be displayed using the power flow display for
the circuit diagram.

Move the cursor onto

C

01

and press OK.

The parameter set for the counter is displayed with actual and setpoint
values.

15.

Move the cursor downwards until you see the value QV>.

16.

Switch the input I5. The actual value changes.

On the display

C_

indicates that the counting coil is actuated.

If the actual and upper setpoint values of the counter are the same, the
timing relay switches the warning light on and off every 2 seconds.
