Managing oscillograms (measured data records)

If several measured data records are loaded in the oscilloscope at the same time, the data record to

be displayed is selected via the Oscillogram list field. There are three types of data records:

Online data record
The ONLINE data record is the only data record which serves to establish a connection to the target

system to execute an oscilloscope measurement.

OFFLINE data record
The OFFLINE data record is a data record already saved in the project or a data record imported from

a file.

• The configuration of the OFFLINE data record can be reused for future recording.
• The OFFLINE data record is displayed in the Oscillogram list field under the name that has been

assigned for this data record while being saved.

MERGE data record
The merge data record is automatically available in the Oscillogram list field if two or more data

records are loaded in the oscilloscope at the same time.

• In the merge data record, several characteristics from the currently loaded data records can

overlaid, e.g. to compare signal characteristics from different recordings.

Commenting the oscillogram

The Comments text field serves to enter a comment on the selected oscillogram.

• If you execute the

Saving the oscillogram

command, the comment is saved together with

the data record in the file.

• If you execute the

Loading an oscillogram

command and then select a data record in the

Load data record dialog box, the corresponding comment is displayed in the dialog box.
