3.2.8 Resetting the Device
Purpose
To reset the device without losing any user-defined switch and router configuration parameters, or
to clear NVRAM (user-defined) config settings.
Commands
Commands to reset the device are listed below and described in the associated section as shown.
• show reset ( Section 3.2.8.1 )
• reset ( Section 3.2.8.2 )
• reset at ( Section 3.2.8.3 )
• reset in ( Section 3.2.8.4 )
• clear config ( Section 3.2.8.5 )
