At this point in the installation, setup will finish installing Windows XP.
This will take some time depending on your hardware configuration.
The PC will automatically reboot.
19. If you see a Display settings prompt, click OK.
20. At the Welcome to Microsoft Windows screen, click Next.
21. At the Internet Connection screen, click Skip.
22. To skip the Windows Registration Wizard, click the No, not at this time
option and click Next.
23. At the Who will use this computer? screen, enter >xptemp< into the
Your Name Field and click Next.
24. At the “Thank You!” screen, remove the Windows XP Professional CD
and click Finish to start Windows XP.
25. When Windows XP starts, select Start

Control Panel.
26. Click the User Accounts icon.
27. Click Change the way Users log on or off.
28. Uncheck the Use the Welcome screen checkbox.
29. Click Apply Options.
30. Close all windows and restart the PC.
TIP
All systems which are configured for this Process Control
System should use the same Workgroup Name for easier
operations.
IMPORTANT
Microsoft Windows XP Professional must be registered
with the Microsoft Corporation, but registration is not
required at this time. We recommend that you skip this
step by answering No to the activation and registration
wizard.
Consult your company’s practices and IT organization to
determine proper license acquisition.
