Installing Security Update for Internet Explorer 6.0
All systems are required to install the Internet Explorer 6.0 Security Update.
The task must be performed after Internet Explorer 6.0 has been installed.
Perform the following tasks to install the Internet Explorer 6.0 Security
Update:
1. Logon to the system as Administrator.
2. Insert the ProcessLogix R500.1 Knowledge Builder CD into the
CD-ROM drive.
3. Click Start

Run.
4. Enter this path or Browse to:
>D:( or your CD-ROM drive letter )\IE6_Security_Rollup\q319182.exe<
5. Click OK.
6. Click Yes to install the update.
7. Click OK when the update has been installed.
8. Click Yes to restart the computer.
9. To verify that the install is complete, refer to Checking for the Internet
Explorer 6.0 Security Update on page 2-34.
TIP
If this is the first time start since the Windows 2000
operating system install, it will be necessary to remove the
default startup screens. Refer to Removing the Default
Startup Screens on page P-4.
