Confirmation of IPv6 Multicast Routing Information

5.7.1

Confirming Routes to Destination Group Address

Confirm using a show ipv6 mcache command that the route to a destination address
exists when IPv6 multicast routing information is set in the router. If no route exists
and downstream is not correct, refer to Subsection 5.7.2, “Confirming the PIM-SM
information
” to Subsection 5.7.3, “Confirming the MLD information”.

Confirming the PIM-SM information

The contents of confirmation when a PIM-SM function is set using the IPv6 multicast
routing information of the router are as described below.
