tested by test interfaces or bert
command.

To restart communication, stop line test by using no
test interfaces command or no bert command.

remote

This line is under remote loopback
test by the peer router.

To restart communication, stop the remote loopback
test by the peer router.

fault

This line has a hardware error.

Obtain the log message for the subject line using
show logging command, and take necessary
troubleshooting actions in accordance with the
obtained log message (Chapter 5, “Log Messages,” in
GR2000 Operations Log and MIB Reference).

initialized

This line is restarting after error
detection. (*3)

Same as above.

locked

Operation of this line is suspended by
configuration information.

Ensure that a cable is connected to the line to be
used, and set this line to active by altering the
configuration information.

auto locked

Operations are suspended
automatically because the line test is
executed by employing the pair line of
the APS line.

Operations are started by completing the line test that
is executed by employing the pair line of the APS line.

*1: The line means the leased line of BRI, PRI, T1, E1, or 6.3 M interface.
*2: The line means the leased line of CE3 or CT3.
*3; If it is a serial line and the logic port back-up has been defined, the unused interface will not actuate (except when
the line to be backed up is ISDN and during automatic cut-back). The present status appears at this time.

this NIF. (Installed line/subline and line/

Check whether installed line/subline is correct, or
line/ subline configuration information is correct.

Subline configuration information is not
defined under this subline.

Define configuration information for the Subline to
be used.

5

closed

Operation of this subline is suspended
by the close command.

Check that cable is installed to the line to be used,
and set this line and subline to active by using the
free command.
