(b) Confirmation of Name Server Setting
Use the
show dns-relay
command to confirm the name server information used by the
DNS relay demon. If the name server has not been set, refer to the confirmation of
the configuration defining information.
Confirm using PPPoE session information that a DNS address is acquired when the
name server is set so that it is automatically acquired using a PPPoE session. The
DNS address is set so that no DNS server address is notified on the remote server
(connection provider) side when it is not acquired. In this case, set the name server
manually after confirming from the connection provider.
(c) Confirmation of the DNS Relay’s Convergence State
A DNS relay can process a maximum of 2000 requests. If this accommodating
condition is exceeded, the DNS relay issues an error response to the client. To
investigate the cause for reaching this condition, use the operation command “
to
make confirmation
.”
