Double click the icon at the bottom right corner of your desktop. The Wireless Network
Connection Status window appears. Click Properties. The Wireless Network window appears. On
this window, click Add. Select the Association tab, and type dot1x in the Network name (SSID) input
box. Make sure that you have selected The key is provided for me automatically, as shown in Figure
31-77 .

Then, in the Authentication tab, select Protected EAP (PEAP) from the EAP type drop-down list, and
click Properties. In the popup window, clear Validate server certificate, and click Configure. In the
popup dialog box, clear Automatically use my Windows logon name and password (and domain if
any), and then click OK, as shown in Figure 31-78 and Figure 31-79 .
