1 Attach the RS-232 communications cable to the Service Module, as shown in
Figure 2-20 .

2 Attach the RS-232 cable to the Laptop computer, as shown in Figure 2-21 .

3 Turn on the Power switch for the Service Module, located at the back right
corner of the Service Module (refer to
Figure 2-18 ).
4 Turn on the Laptop and open the ER IQ program.
