The Configure Parameters window appears.

Select a port group from the dropdown list.

Click OK.

Click Save Configuration .

The Custom View Status Pie Chart widget,

, displays the number and percentage of devices by

state for a custom view. The device state can be Unmanaged, Unknown, Normal, or an alarm level.
Operators must select the custom view whose device numbers they want to view.

As shown in

Figure 60

, the pie chart shows devices based on their status, unmanaged, unknown, normal,

or an alarm level. Devices that are added to but not managed by IMC are categorized as unmanaged,

and devices whose information cannot be obtained by IMC are categorized as unknown.
When you place the pointer over a slice of the pie chart, the number and percentage of devices

represented by the slice automatically appears in a message balloon.

1.

Navigate to the view configuration window:

a.

Point to the icon located at the top of the left navigation tree.
A list of predefined and user-defined favorites appears.

b.

Point to the Display Tiling folder option.
The popup list appears.

c.

Click

Configuration in the popup list.

The view configuration window appears.

2.

Drag the Custom View Status Pie Chart widget from the widget area to the panel.

3.

Right-click the Custom View Status Pie Chart widget and then select Parameter Configuration from
the shortcut menu.
