Operators must bind devices to the target regions.
To bind devices to a region:
1.
Navigate to the view configuration window:
a.
Point to the icon located at the top of the left navigation tree.
A list of predefined and user-defined favorites appears.
b.
Point to the Display Tiling folder option.
The popup list appears.
c.
Click
Configuration in the popup list.
2.
The view configuration window appears.
3.
Drag the Regional Map widget from the widget area to the panel.
4.
Right-click the Regional Map widget and then select Parameter Configuration from the shortcut
menu.
The Regional Map Configuration window appears.
5.
Right-click a region in the map and then select Bind Device from the shortcut menu.
The Select Object window appears.
6.
Filter devices by label or IP address:
a.
Enter a partial or full device label or IP address in the text box.
b.
Select one or more objects. Options include Device, Custom View, Room, and Rack.
c.
Click Search.
The results of your filter or search display in the object list.
If you do not set the criterion, the list displays all objects in IMC.
