Config SNMP (v3) Param(H3C)

Group Name: Enter an SNMPv3 group name.

Read-View Type: Select an option from the Read-View Type list. Options include Included and
Excluded. The Included option enables the associated SNMP user to read only the nodes that are

included in the MIB subtree specified by the MIB SubTree Name parameter. The Excluded option
enables the associated SNMP user to read only the nodes that are excluded from the MIB subtree

specified by the MIB SubTree Name parameter.

Read-View Name: Enter a name of the read view.

MIB SubTree Name: Enter a name of the MIB subtree for the read view.

Write-View Type: Select an option from the Write-View Type list. Options include Included and
Excluded. The Included option enables the associated SNMP user to write all nodes that is

contained in the MIB subtree specified by the MIB SubTree Name parameter. The Excluded option

enables the associated SNMP user to write all nodes that is excluded from the MIB subtree specified
by the MIB SubTree Name parameter

Write-View Name: Enter a name of the write view.

MIB SubTree Name: Enter a name of the MIB subtree for the write view.

Authentication-Privacy Mode: Select an authentication mode from the Authentication-Privacy

Mode list.

Username: Enter an SNMP username.

Authentication Password: Enter an authentication password.

Encryption Password: Enter an encryption password.

Virtual Connect

Only HP VC devices support Virtual Connect operations.
Add Ethernet Network Connection

Profile Name: Select the server profile file created on the HP VC device. This option is required.

Network: Select the network to which the HP VC device is assigned.

PXE: This parameter allows you to choose whether to enable PXE. Options include Use BIOS,
Enable, and Disable. The default is Use BIOS.

Address Type: Select the MAC address type of the NIC or port. Options include Factory-Default
and User-Defined. If you do not configure this option, the device automatically assigns an address

string to the NIC or port from a specified address pool. If Factory-Default is selected, the device

uses the factory-default MAC address.

If User-Defined is selected, assign a MAC address to the NIC or port by configuring the Ethernet
MAC or iSCSI MAC parameter.

Ethernet MAC: Enter an Ethernet MAC address. If you select User-Defined in Address Type, this
option is required.

iSCSI MAC: Enter a hexadecimal iSCSI MAC address in the format of FF-FF-FF-FF-FF-FF. If you select
User-Defined in Address Type, this option is required.

Speed Type: Select the speed type of the port. Options include Preferred, Auto, and Custom.

Speed: Set the speed of the port, which must be an integer ranging from 100 to 10000 in MBps.
This option is required when Custom is selected in Speed Type.
