2 Numeric format of
<oper>
. This is the GSM Location Area Identification (LAI)
number, which consists of the 3-digit Mobile Country Code (MCC) plus the 2-
or 3-digit Mobile Network Code (MNC).
Note
• It is not recommended to use the
AT+COPS
command before passing the CHV (card holder verification) / SIM
PIN1 verification. In case of entering of
AT+COPS
= 0 before PIN1 verification the module will answer with OK
and does not try to register to the network. Also, the test command should only be used after PIN1 authenti-
cation.
