8.12 AT^SALS Alternate Line Service
The
AT^SALS
command is designed to support Alternate Line Service. This allows the subscriber to use two
voice numbers on the same SIM card (service requires a dual line SIM card).
The write command enables or disables the presentation of
<view>
and specifies the
<line>
used for outgoing
calls. The read command returns the presentation mode of
<view>
and the currently selected
<line>
.
Syntax

If switched on with

=1:
^SALS: <line>
Indicates the line used by an incoming call.
Parameter Description
Controls the presentation mode of the URC "^SALS" which indicates the line number used by an incoming call:
0
(&F)(P) Disables indication of the called line
1 Enables indication of the called line
Selects the line to be used for outgoing calls. Setting is global for the ME and non volatile.

• If a non ALS SIM is inserted, the

will be reset to line 1.
