YES

Normal

For each audio channel in the comparison group, the status of
this alarm represents the level of match between the
reference signal and the Probed signal. Normal indicates a
good match

Minor

Marginal match

Critical

Poor match, or no match at all.

Unknown

There is no fingerprint data available for analysis,
e.g. fingerprint presence error, comparison just started, etc.

Lip-sync delay

YES

NO

NO

Normal

Normal if lip-sync delay value is within the audio-lead and
audio-lag thresholds. Text value represents the current
audio/video delay difference in msec. at the probed point
when compared to the reference. A positive value (+) indicates
that audio is late with respect to the video (lagging). A
negative value (-) indicates that the audio leads the video. The
precision is +/- 1 msec.

Critical

Critical if lip-sync delay is outside of audio-lead and audio-lag
thresholds.

Unknown

This can arise for either of two possible reasons:

• There is no fingerprint data available for analysis

(e.g. fingerprint presence error, comparison just started).

• The audio or video match level is too low for computing

the lip sync ( e.g. audio silence, low motion video, unlocked
audio/video)
