Item Description
Enable 802.1X Enable or disable 802.1X authentication globally.
Authentication Method
Specify the authentication method for 802.1X users.
Options include CHAP, PAP, and EAP.
Quiet
Specify whether to enable the quiet timer.
After an 802.1X user fails to be authenticated, the device will keep
quiet for a period of time defined by Quiet Period. During the quiet
period, the device will not perform 802.1X authentication on the user.
Quiet Period Specify the value of the quiet timer.
Retry Times
Specify the maximum number of attempts to send an authentication
request to a client.
Within a specified period of time (defined by the TX Period or
Supplicant Timeout Time option), if the device does not receive the
response from the client, the device will determine whether to send
an authentication request again according to the value defined by
this parameter.
1 means that the device will send an authentication request only
once even if it does not receive any response from the client within
the set interval. 2 means that the device will send an authentication
request again if it does not receive any response from the client
within the set interval, and so forth.
TX Period Specify the transmission interval.
Handshake Period Specify the handshake interval.
Re-Authentication Period Specify the re-authentication interval.
Supplicant Timeout Time Specify the client timeout interval.
