3.4.4 Macro Variables

The Program: Macro Variables screen is used to view and edit both local and common macro
variables. Local macro variables can be set from macro programs, and are shown in
Figure 3.4.4.1 on page 54. The graphic on the left side of the screen indicates the level for the
currently displayed local variables. This screen updates continuously when macro programs are
executed. Common macro variables are set using the common macro variable tabs, one of which
is shown in Figure 3.4.4.2 on page 55. Common macro variables will keep their values when the
machine is shut off; local macro variables will not.
