Appendix
7. Output Control during Path Movement
[Description]
In a coating process, etc., output control may be required while the actuator is moving. The X-SEL
controller lets you use the PATH command to output a signal while the actuator is moving.
[How to use]
Declare the POTP command to output a signal, before the PATH command, while the actuator is moving.
If a given output or global flag is specified in the output field of the PATH command, the output or flag
specified in the output field will turn ON when the actuator closes in via path movement on the position
specified in the PATH command.
[Use example 1]
The actuator operates from P1 to P5 without stopping according to
the position layout shown to the right, where output port 310 is
turned ON as the actuator closes in on P2.
Outputs and flags can only be turned ON. Turn OFF the applicable output/flag (using the BTOF command)
after the path operation has completed.
[Use example 2]
Outputs 310 to 313 can be turned on sequentially at positions P2 to P5.
