• Dual Path Usage
This option is only available on the ARC-1883X with dual path
firmware.
- Load Balance By Slot is the method for distributing com-
mand requests across a group of slots. Going down the list of
slots, the controller forwards a command request to each slot
in turn.
- Load Balance By Round Robin is the method for distribut-
ing command requests across two ports of each slot. Going
down the list of ports in the slot, the controller forwards a
command request to each port in turn.
- Active Standby is the method for distributing command
requests on across the SFF-8644 SAS 1-4 ports and the other
SFF-8644 SAS 5-8 ports as standby. If the active SAS cable
fails, traffic fails over to a standby cable.
