• SCSI ID
Each device attached to the SAS RAID controller, as well as
the SAS RAID controller itself, must be assigned a unique
SCSI ID number. A SCSI channel can connect up to 15 de-
vices. It is necessary to assign a SCSI ID to each device from
a list of available SCSI IDs.
• SCSI LUN
Each SCSI ID can support up to 8 LUNs. Most SAS controllers
treat each LUN as if it were a SAS disk.
