• SCSI ID

Each device attached to the SAS RAID controller, as well as

the SAS RAID controller itself, must be assigned a unique

SCSI ID number. A SCSI channel can connect up to 15 de-

vices. It is necessary to assign a SCSI ID to each device from

a list of available SCSI IDs.

• SCSI LUN

Each SCSI ID can support up to 8 LUNs. Most SAS controllers

treat each LUN as if it were a SAS disk.
