USB

The Windows operating system can be configured to disable write access to the USB ports for
users who are in a secure environment where transferring data from the instrument is
prohibited.  This user interface is a convenient way for the customer to disable write access to
USB.

Notes

When the USB ports are in Read-only mode then no data can be stored to USB, including the
internal USB memory used for a back-up location for the calibration data.

This is unaffected by Preset or any Restore System Defaults.  An Agilent Recovery will set the
USB to write protect OFF
