The following pages describe the dialogs and menu commands of the CANopen
configurator. Further information is provided by the document „CANopen für 3S
Laufzeitsysteme V<version>.pdf
”.

Base parameters of a CAN Master

The Base parameters dialog of a CAN master matches that of the other modules (see
Chapter Base parameters of an I/O Module).

Note!

Control configuration for fieldbus systems in mixed operation:

Address conflicts may occur when configuring fieldbus systems in mixed operation.

Example: Automatic address allocation for CAN is carried out in the »PLC Designer«
and for EtherCAT in the »EtherCAT Configurator«. Without manual action, both
address ranges start with the address "0". However, if the CAN component in the
control configuration of the »PLC Designer« already has an effect when the
EtherCAT component is imported, the process data will overlap.

See the respective Communication Manuals for more information on solving
address conflicts.
