Operating the Control

This section describes the procedures for turning on and off power to the
control. See the documentation prepared by your system installer for more
specific procedures.
Follow this procedure to turn on power to the control:
1.
Visually make sure that the control and the machine are in normal
operating condition.
2.
Press the power <ON> button.
Important: Do not touch any other buttons after you press the power
<ON> button until characters appear and remain on the screen.
3.
Make sure that characters appear on the screen within approximately
10 seconds.
Important: If, after you press the power <ON> button, the screen does not
display characters within a reasonable warm up period (about 10 seconds),
immediately press the power <OFF> button and contact service personnel.
