The Schedule Grid

Schedule event colors

Events in the Schedule Grid change color to reflect the current event status.

Background color

Meaning

Grey (with orange text)

iTX is checking the item in the event.

White

iTX has checked the item and found it ready for use.

Yellow (with black text)

There is a problem with the item, or it is not yet available.

Green

The item is cued and ready to play out.

Dark red

The item is about to go to air; iTX will not accept changes to

the event through the Event Editor.

Red

The item is on air.

Grey (with black text)

The item has played out.

Black (with yellow text)

The item has failed to play out at the scheduled time.

Note:

Your system administrator may assign an alternative color scheme to the Schedule Grid.

Cache status indicators

The Cache column in the Schedule Grid displays indicators to show the cache status of media

items:

Indicator

Status

(green)

Cached. The file for the media item is in the Output Server cache.

(amber)

Not cached but available. The file for the media item is in the Media

Store.

(red)

Not cached and not available. The file for the media item is not in the

Output Server cache or the Media Store; it may be in an external

media folder.

For media items that do not involve caching operations (for instance, live sources), the

Schedule Grid does not display an indicator.

Caching progress

You can check the progress of caching operations by viewing the Cache % column in the

Schedule Grid.
