Preparing media items for playout
An example is the Clip Available flag. This marks a clip as either available or unavailable for
playout. Where the flag is not selected (an asset is unavailable), iTX displays a warning indicator
in the Schedule Grid; it does not display the warning indicator for assets that are available.
Expanding panels
To make the best use of available space in the Property Editor, some panels are collapsible. A
Show/Hide button in the title bar identifies such panels:
Clicking the button expands or collapses a panel.
Reloading an asset
As you work with an asset on the Asset layout, an operator at another iTX Desktop workstation
may change some of the asset properties. To ensure the details in the Property Editor are up to
date, you may need to reload the asset. You do this by clicking the Reload button:
Asset locking
Depending on your user rights, you may be able to lock or unlock assets. Locked assets cannot
be deleted and allow only a certain amount of modification. More details , page 316.
Saving asset changes
To keep any changes you make to an asset, you need to use one of the Save buttons. More
details , page 312.
