Ingesting files through the Media Store Inbox

Ingesting files through the Media Store Inbox

If you have media files in a storage format that iTX accepts, you can ingest them into the iTX

system by placing them in the Inbox folder on the Media Store. iTX registers the files and

transfers them to a permanent storage location, also on the Media Store.
By media file, we mean a file that contains pictures, sound or text that iTX can play out in a

television signal. There are different types of such files, including: video files, audio files, still-

image files and subtitle files.
There are files of other types that do not contain media but which you can use in the iTX

system. These include schedules, clip lists, wipe lists, layouts and license files. You can also

ingest such files through the Inbox folder.

Valid formats for media files and other types of file

any Output Server cache or in an archive.
