The Schedule Grid

Play out a VTR event

While the VTR event is cueing, the Schedule Grid displays the following message in the Error

Details column: "Load tape name in vtr name":

When this message is displayed, do the following to play out the VTR event.

1.

Insert the specified videotape in the VTR (videotape machine).

iTX moves the videotape to a point that is just before the point specified for the start of the

VTR event. The difference between the two points is called the pre-roll time.
Just before the start time of the event, iTX plays the videotape from this point. It continues

to play the videotape for the specified duration of the event.

Note:

If the tape is already in the VTR, you need to eject the tape and insert it in the VTR again.

If your schedule includes another VTR event on the same videotape, iTX automatically cues

the VTR event. The Schedule Grid does not display a message in the Error Details column.

Recording schedule events

From the Schedule Grid, you can manage the recording of sequences and live events if your

system has the required functionality.
