Ingesting files through the Media Store Inbox
• To update a reference file (for example, to add an audio track), copy the new essence files
to the media.dir subfolder of the Inbox; then copy the new reference file to the _ESSENCE
subfolder of the Inbox.
The Media Watcher registers the media files and moves them to a new folder within the
Media folder. The original video and audio essence files are copied to the new essence
folder; the Media Watcher then deletes the original folder.
