8.7.5 Window transition effect [VIDEO SWITCHING]

You can select a window transition effect for when video inputs are switched.

Switching speed of effect other than “CUT” can be set in 8.7.6 Window transition

”.

[For MSD-5401/MSD-5402/MSD-5403/MSD-5404]

“CUT”: A black frame is displayed and the video input is switched instantly (approximately five frames).

“FADE OUT-IN”: The current video fades out slowly and then a black frame is displayed. After that, the next

video is displayed slowly.

“FREEZE->FADE OUT-IN”: The current video fades out slowly after a freeze.

“WIPE”: The color selected in 8.7.7 Wipe coloris wiped in and the video is displayed. After wipe-out, the

next video is displayed. You can select a wiping direction from four directions.

However, if you switch the channel from a channel without input video signals or switch it to a channel without

input video signals, “FADE OUT-IN” and WIPE OUT/IN cannot be performed regardless of the setting of this

menu. You can set the switching speed of “FADE OUT-IN” and WIPE OUT/IN by following 8.7.6 Window

transition

・RIGHT→LEFT WIPE
・TOP→BOTTOM WIPE
・BOTTOM→TOP WIPE

[For MSD-5401SL/MSD-5402SL]

“CUT”: The video input is switched instantly.

“DISSOLVE”: The current video is cross-fades and switched to the next video.

“FREEZE->DISSOLVE”: The current video is cross-faded after freeze.

“WIPE”: Video is wiped. You can select a wiping direction from four directions. If it is switched from or to a

channel without input video signals, the color selected in 8.7.7 Wipe coloris wiped in and the current video

disappears. After it is wiped out, the next video is displayed.

・BOTTOM→TOP WIPE

Note:

The setting of this menu is valid not only when the input is switched, but also when “8.5.5 Automatic

detection of input video interruption” is set to “ON”.
