The DHCP Options screen describes the following:

Cisco Discovery Protocol

Network

The Cisco Discovery Protocol (CDP) is a proprietary Data Link Layer network protocol implemented
in Cisco networking equipment and used to share information about network devices.

To view a controller or service platform’s CDP Statistics:

1. Select the Statistics menu from the Web UI.

2. Select a Wireless Controller node from the left navigation pane.

3. Expand the Network menu from the left-hand side of the UI.

4. Select Cisco Discovery Protocol.

Server Information

Lists server information specific to each DHCP server resource available to requesting clients for the
dynamic assignment of IP addresses.

Image File

Displays the image file name. BOOTP or the bootstrap protocol can be used to boot diskless clients. An
image file is sent from the boot server. The file contains the operating system image. DHCP servers can
be configured to support BOOTP.

Configuration

Displays the name of the configuration file on the DHCP server.

Legacy Adoption

Displays legacy (historical) device adoption information.

Adoption

Displays pending (current) adoption information.

Refresh

Select the Refresh button to update the screen’s statistics counters to their latest values.
