Viewing Detected Clients
Advanced WIPS
The Detected Clients screen lists clients detected within the controller or service platform managed
network that are not connected to an approved Access Point radio.
To view the detected clients statistics:
1. Select the Statistics menu from the Web UI.
2. Select a Wireless Controller node from the left navigation pane.
3. Select Advanced WIPS and expand the menu to reveal its sub menu items.
4. Select Detected Clients.

The Detected Clients screen displays the following:
Viewing Event History
Advanced WIPS
Client MAC Address Displays the hardware encoded MAC address of the detected client.
Reporting Sensor Displays the radio MAC address of the sensor radio detecting and reporting the clients's presence to the
controller or service platform.
Client Type Displays whether the detected client has been authorized or remains unauthorized.
Channel Displays the radio channel the client was detected on.
Wired Client Lists each client as either wired or wireless within the network. A green checkmark defines the client as
having a wired connection.
Last Seen Time Displays the time the detected client was last seen on the network.
Refresh Select the Refresh button to update the screen’s statistics counters to their latest values.
