Torque limitation

MCTRL_nLoMLim_aand MCTRL_nHiMLim_a serve to set an external torque limitation. This
serves to define various torque values for the quadrants "drive" and "brake".

ƒ

MCTRL_nHiMLim_a is the upper torque limit in [%] of the maximally possible torque.

ƒ

MCTRL_nLoMLim_a is the lower torque limit in [%] of the maximally possible torque.

ƒ

The maximally possible torque is set via C0057.

(

Stop!

Set only positive values in MCTRL_nHiMLim_a and only negative values in
MCTRL_nLoMLim_a as otherwise the speed controller may get out of control.
This may cause the drive to speed up in an uncontrolled way.

)

Note!

ƒ

If MCTRL_nHiMLim_a is unassigned (free), the upper torque limit
automatically amounts to 100 % of the max. possible torque.

ƒ

If MCTRL_nLoMLim_a is unassigned (free), the lower torque limit
automatically amounts to −100 % of the max. possible torque.

ƒ

In case of quick stop (QSP), the torque limitation is switched to an inactive
state, i.e. the operation runs with

±100 %.
