Adding IP addresses

To add an IP address range (IPv4 and IPv6), complete the following steps.

1. Select IP Address from the Entry Type list.

2. Enter the first IP address in the range in the first IP Address field.

3. Enter the last IP address in the range in the second IP Address field.

4. To exclude an address range using the IP Address format, refer to

“Excluding IP addresses”

on

page 73.

5. To finish configuring the address ranges, return to

“Configuring address ranges”

on page 70.

Excluding CIDR subnet addresses

To exclude CIDR subnet addresses (IPv4 and IPv6), complete the following steps.

1. Select CIDR Subnet from the Entry Type list.

2. Enter the IP address in the IP Address field.

3. Enter the subnet mask bits in the Subnet Mask Bits field.

For IPv4, the subnet mask bits is between 0 and 32.

For IPv6, the subnet mask bits is between 0 and 128.

4. To include an address range using the CIDR Subnet format, refer to

“Adding CIDR subnet

addresses”

on page 71.

5. To finish configuring the address ranges, return to

“Configuring address ranges”

on page 70.
