This command sets the time range for the execution of a command. Use the no form to remove a
previously specified time.
Syntax
absolute start hour minute day month year
[end hour minutes day month year]
absolute end hour minutes day month year
no absolute
hour - Hour in 24-hour format. (Range: 0-23)
minute - Minute. (Range: 0-59)
day - Day of month. (Range: 1-31)
month - january | february | march | april | may | june | july | august | september |
october | november | december
year - Year (4-digit). (Range: 2009-2109)

Command Usage
• If a time range is already configured, you must use the no form of this command to remove the
current entry prior to configuring a new time range.
• If both an absolute rule and one or more periodic rules are configured for the same time range
(i.e., named entry), that entry will only take effect if the current time is within the absolute time
range and one of the periodic time ranges.
Example
This example configures the time for the single occurrence of an event.
