Command Echo E
Set command enables or disables the command echo.
Syntax

ATE[<n>] Set
Parameters and Values
<n>
0 Disables command echo.
1 Enables command echo, hence command sent to the device are echoed back to
the DTE before the response is given. Default: 1.
Notes

If parameter is omitted, the command has the same behavior as ATE0.

Set command enables or disables the result codes.
Syntax

ATQ[<n>] Set
Parameters and Values
<n>
0 Enables result codes. Default: 0.
1 Disables result codes.
2 Disables result codes. Only for backward compatibility.
Notes

After issuing either ATQ1 or ATQ2 every information text transmitted in response to commands is not affected.

If parameter is omitted, the command has the same behavior as ATQ0.
